 The Story of the Mother

Who Ended Her Daughter's Life

A Sad True Story

She went to the cemetery and placed her daughter in the grave, a baby girl who was only 10 hours old. After three consecutive days, she went to see what happened.

Once upon a time, there was a woman married to a man. They lived in a small town. When the mother became pregnant, her husband told her that if the baby was a girl, he would kill her and divorce her immediately. The mother was saddened upon hearing this. After a short time, she began to reflect on the difficult night of the birth and wonder: What if it was a girl?

Would he really kill her and divorce me? Day after day, and the closer she got to the date of birth, the more fearful she became, and so did her thoughts, worries, and sadness. The days passed like years, the hours like days, and the minutes like hours. The closer she got to giving birth, the more her worries and thoughts increased. Three days before the date of birth, her husband left for work and told her that he would be back soon. The hours passed by at a frantic pace, and fear overcame her more and more. And when the time came for birth, there was a surprise!! The newborn was a female. The mother was very sad, and before her husband arrived or knew about it, about 10 hours after the birth. She may have breastfed her or not. She may have contemplated her facial features or not. She may have memorized her appearance or not. She may have given her a name or not. The devil laughed at her and whispered in her mind that she must get rid of her before her husband arrived and the disaster occurred. She carried her in her arms and went with her to the cemetery. She placed her daughter in the grave. She was a small child who was not more than 10 hours old. The child was calling out loudly and screaming as if she was calling for help. The mother was crying for her daughter. Then she looked at her to say goodbye and kiss her. Then she finished and left her alone crying, calling out to her mother in her childish way, “Waaaaat!” The mother returned home and sat thinking about what to do and what she would say to her husband when he returned. “What, what, why, how, and when?” Then she saw in a dream that Her baby girl needs to be breastfed and screams "waaaaah waaaaaah" from extreme hunger. Then she wakes up, calling out "my baby girl" and crying, saying "my baby girl" and crying and crying. She wails and remains like this all night. When the call to dawn prayer is made, sleep overcomes her again, and she sees her baby girl calling out loud and wailing from hunger, "waaaaah waaaaaah" and she won't stop crying. She remains in this dream until she wakes up. On the second day, a surprise happened that no human could have imagined! The woman went to a sheikh and told him everything that had happened. The sheikh said, "Woe to you, woman, what is your daughter's name?" She hesitated a little because she hadn't really given her a name. Then she said, "Her name is Fatima." The sheikh said, "Go to the cemetery and check on her daughter." She actually went to the cemetery, thinking about her and what she would find there. She went, full of hope that she would find what she was looking for. Then she arrived and opened the cemetery to find the unbelievable surprise: the girl was still alive!!!! She took her into her arms as she cried for years and immediately placed her breast in her mouth to breastfeed her. The baby was in a very unenviable state, and then she hurried back home.

She tried again and again with the baby until she began to breastfeed little by little. The woman didn't think about her husband and what he would do when he found out what had happened. All she could think about now was her own child.

On the other hand, her husband returned from his trip, also thinking about his wife and fearing that she had given birth to a girl. While he was thinking, planning and plotting his fate, some thieves attacked him on the road, stole his money, beat him severely and threw him into the water. He tried to get closer to the shore to escape death, but he could not bear it and did not last long due to the severity of the beating. Then he dived into the water. While he was drowning and sinking to the bottom of the water, he looked up and said goodbye to life and was completely convinced that his life was inevitably over. He surrendered completely to death. Suddenly, a ray of light came from above and reached him. Then he saw a little girl coming from the direction of that light, her face like a full moon. She extended her little hand to him and said in innocent, childish words, “Don’t give up, Dad. Don’t give up, Dad. Give me your hand, Dad. I am Fatima, your daughter.” He opens his eyes again after closing them to confirm the features of that little girl and who she is, but she disappears again after he opens his eyes. A minute before his death, he struggles with death and tries to reach the top of the water. He tries and tries and struggles until he reaches the top of the water again and takes a deep breath. He was on the verge of death, but God made that little girl the reason for his survival. Then he reaches the shore and emerges from the water, catching his breath with difficulty. After a few minutes, after the exhaustion, hardship, and suffering he was experiencing has ended, he remembers those words: "Don't give up, Dad. Give me your hand, Dad." He remembers his wife who was about to give birth. Then he runs to his house to search for a ray of light to search for the glimmer of hope that saved him from death. He enters to his wife in a strange state, and he appears tired, exhausted, and suffering from the hardship he went through. He finds his wife carrying his baby girl in her arms, breastfeeding her and carrying her. His wife looks at him with mercy and hope that he will not be sad and leave her alone. He approaches her, approaches her more, looks and contemplates her face, and his tears fall without him knowing. His crying voice rises. Yes, it is her. She is Fatima, my daughter. She is the light that saved me from destruction. Yes, she is the same baby, the same features, the same appearance, the same beauty and innocence. He carries her and embraces her and bursts into tears and tells his wife what happened. Do not read and leave in silence. Pray for our Prophet and beloved Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, the beloved of the Messenger of God.
