The Ministry of Housing announced the offering of 261,000 units over five phases through the Housing and Construction Bank, starting mid-April.

Officially, the date for the launch of new social housing apartments for low-income individuals in 2025 has been set.

The Ministry indicated that the apartments will be offered in five phases as follows:

The first phase will include 35,088 housing units on April 15, 2025.

The second phase will include 59,510 housing units on July 15, 2025.

The third phase will include 59,687 housing units on October 15, 2025.

The fourth phase will include 58,312 housing units on January 15, 2026.

The fifth phase will include 48,656 housing units on April 15, 2026.

The Ministry added that prices start from EGP 10,000 and go up to EGP 35,000 per square meter for above-average and luxury housing. This will be implemented over the coming period on the Egypt Real Estate platform, as part of the country's digital transformation. Each property will have a unique identification card and other features provided by the platform.

It's worth noting that the Ministry of Housing recently launched two projects, "Diarna" and "Zilal," with the aim of providing luxury and above-average housing units to citizens in various cities.

Among the Ministry of Housing's most prominent projects for upper-middle and luxury housing are the Sakan Misr project, Diarna project, Dar Misr project, Jannat Misr project, and Zilal project.

It's worth noting that Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, indicated during the press conference that this offering is part of the 400,000 housing units planned, in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to begin the combined offering of housing units for low- and middle-income individuals, as well as for upper-middle and luxury housing.

The Minister of Housing emphasized the importance of completing all procedures to offer the units as soon as possible. Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, also reviewed the financial status of housing projects within the presidential initiative "Housing for All Egyptians," along with the Fund's financial flows.
