The reservation link for the new social housing units in 2025 has been sought after by many citizens in recent hours, following the announcement by the Ministry of Housing regarding the official opening of reservations for 35,088 residential units, starting from Tuesday, April 15, 2025. This initiative is part of the state's plan to provide suitable housing for all segments of society. 


Details of the offering include units with varying sizes and easy payment systems

featuring residential units ranging from 75 square meters to 160 square meters, with multiple payment options and mortgage financing extending up to 20 years. This offering is part of a project that includes 400,000 housing units, in compliance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, targeting low and medium-income individuals, as well as upper-middle and luxury housing. The new phases of the offering include the new social housing program which consists of five stages spread over a year. The first stage begins on April 15, 2025, followed by the second stage on July 15, then the third stage on October 15 of the same year. The fourth phase will commence on January 15, 2026, and the fifth phase will conclude on April 15, 2026.


At each stage, thousands of housing units are offered to meet the increasing demand. The types of housing units available include four categories to suit various income levels, including units for low-income individuals with areas starting from 75 square meters, and units for middle-income individuals with areas reaching up to 120 square meters, along with above-average and luxury units ranging in size from 145 to 160 square meters. The offering also includes units ready for immediate delivery, as well as others that will be delivered within a maximum of two years. The eligibility criteria for applicants stipulate that neither the applicant nor any of their family members should have previously received a housing unit or plot of land from the state, nor benefited from any previous housing finance initiative. Additionally, it is required that they have not received any cooperative loan or support from national housing projects. The applicant or their family is not permitted to reserve more than one housing unit.

He clarified that this offering is in collaboration with the Housing and Development Bank, and includes 35,000 housing units aimed at low and middle-income individuals, in addition to categories of above-average and luxury housing, with prices starting from 10,000 Egyptian pounds to 35,000 Egyptian pounds per square meter. Required documents for application: The Ministry of Housing has specified a number of required documents for application which include a recent income certificate, a utility bill (electricity, water, or gas), a computerized marriage certificate, an insurance statement if available, copies of children's birth certificates, and copies of the national ID cards of both spouses. Additionally, a receipt for the payment of the serious deposit is required, along with a receipt for the payment of the conditions booklet, and the declaration attached to the booklet after signing, in addition to a reservation form indicating the type of unit and the city to which the application is being made.
