Locations and Steps for Reserving Low-Income Housing Apartments 2025

Many citizens are eagerly awaiting the launch of the 2025 social housing apartments for low-income individuals. This is part of the massive housing initiative launched by the Ministry of Housing this year, targeting various income groups in several new cities across the country.

Housing for All Egyptians Initiative – 2025 Offering

The new offering falls under the "Housing for All Egyptians" initiative and consists of 15,000 fully finished apartments with easy payment systems. The offering is divided into two main phases, with the first phase opening for reservations from May 21 to June 4, 2025, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Conditions Booklet and Fees

To apply, you must purchase the 2025 Conditions Booklet, available for:

EGP 300 (booklet fee)
EGP 355 (administrative fee)
Available at automated post offices in the cities where units are offered
(Operating from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, some open from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Reservation Advance and Interest Rates

Units are offered through a mortgage financing system with subsidized interest rates:

For Low-Income Individuals

Interest Rate: 8% annually
Reservation Advance: EGP 50,000
Repayment Period: Up to 20 years

For Middle-Income Individuals

Interest Rate: 12% annually
Reservation Advance: EGP 100,000
Repayment Period: Up to 20 years

Required Documents for Application

Applicants must submit the following:

A certified, recent income certificate
A recent utility bill (electricity, water, or gas)
Marriage certificate (if married)
Insurance contribution printout (if available)
Birth certificates of children (if any)
Valid national ID cards (husband and wife)
Receipt of reservation advance payment
Receipt of conditions booklet payment
Signed acknowledgment form (included with the booklet)
Completed reservation form indicating:
- Desired city
- Income category (low or middle)
